Arabian stallion - before and after

I spent an hour or two in Photoshop trying to edit a photo from the ECAHO International C show last year. I wasn't even thinking of submitting it anywhere, but in the end I really liked how it turned out. I know it is not perfect, but I dare say this is my best photo edit so far.

Please don't make me cover this photo in the big, ugly dA-watermark! Don't steal it, and I won't have to. Thank you.
